EasyCover Terms and Conditions
EasyCover provides protection solely for parcels that are lost or go missing during transit while under the custody of your selected courier. Senders shall be liable for the invoice value of the parcel lost. Failure to report your parcel lost along with the invoice can potentially result in no compensation being given.
For all intents and purposes where there is a conflict or ambiguity as to the meaning in the English provisions or the Bahasa Malaysia provisions herein, it is hereby agreed that the English version shall prevail.
EasyCover Coverage
- The maximum EasyCover coverage for each parcel is Ringgit Malaysia Ten Thousand (MYR 10,000).
- Please be advised that if you choose to opt for EasyCover coverage, it is important to note that the additional insurance purchase will replace the basic insurance coverage offered by courier companies.
EasyCover Lost Parcel Report Time Frame
- The applicable reporting timeframe shall be as set out in our Terms and Conditions and shall be subject to the reporting requirements of the appointed courier.
Required Document(s) Upon EasyCover Claim
- To ensure that EasyParcel can process your claim in a timely manner, kindly provide us with the following documents:-
- Sales/Purchase Invoice must be included:
- Proof of Value (Item’s Actual Value)
- Parcel Content (Item’s Description)
- Photo of parcel content and parcel packaging; and
- Police Report (if necessary, upon request)
- Sales/Purchase Invoice must be included:
- Failure to provide the Required Documents accurately within the specified time frame as set forth in Section 2.0 above will result in the declination/rejection of the claim.
- Please be advised that in the event that your shipment or parcel is lost due to theft, EasyParcel reserves the right to request a police report as supporting evidence for your EasyCover claim submission.

Once your EasyCover claim has been validated by EasyParcel, the payment of the EasyCover coverage will be made through the following methods, depending on the customer’s preferred payment methods;:-
EasyCover Payment Methods:-- EasyParcel Credit
The approved EasyCover claim will be credited to your EasyParcel account instantly once it has been approved. - Bank Transfer
For this method, the approved EasyCover claim will be transferred to your bank account within seven (7) – fourteen (14) working days once it has been approved.
- EasyParcel Credit
- Please be advised that EasyCover compensation amount shall be calculated based on the declared value of the shipped documents or goods by the customer/shipper during booking or the declared value stated on the invoice, whichever is lower.
- Please also be advised that there will be no refund on the shipping fee for any lost parcels.
EasyCover Cancellation and Refund Policies
- EasyParcel is committed to providing the utmost case for your shipment and we take great pride in offering your parcel extra protection. However, we understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel your shipment. In view of this, EasyParcel offers full refund on EasyCover charges if you cancel within seven (7) days from the date of shipment/collection and the shipment has not been scanned in by our courier partner. Please note that this guaranteed refund is subject to our terms and conditions.

However, EasyParcel may not be able to offer a refund on the EasyCover charges if:
- The shipment has already been processed and collected by our courier partner;
- The request for cancellation was made without a valid reason or after the 7-day period. In such cases, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis; or
- The shipment has been returned to the customer/sender due to unsuccessful delivery.
EasyCover Policy Exclusions

EasyParcel shall have no responsibility for any loss incurred or suffered by you, in any manner whatsoever, arising from the loss of any parcels, subject to the following conditions, which will not be covered:
- The documents or parcels are insufficiently addressed, wrapped, or packed and/or incorrectly or contrary to the parcel requirements of the carrier being used;
- The documents or parcels bear an incorrect descriptive label or packaging describing the nature of the parcel’s contents;
- Any claim pertaining to the failure of computer software and/or computer data;
- Loss or liability, whether directly or indirectly, resulted from terrorism, war or strikes;
- Any claims for public liability, bailees, consequences loss, product liability and business interruption liability;
- Any claim arising from the radioactive contamination, chemical, biological, biochemical and electromagnetic weapons;
- Any claim arising from the detention of any documents or parcels by Customs or excise, Police or any other government agencies or bodies or officers;
- Any claim arising out of the loss of:
- accounts / bills / money / coin / cash / currency / deeds / any monetary instruments
- aerosol
- alcoholic beverages / beers / wines / liquors
- antiques / works of arts / paintings
- any product related to illegal activities or which is prohibited by law
- articles of unusual value
- biological samples
- chainsaw
- counterfeit / pirated goods and materials
- cyanides or precipitates
- dangerous / flammable / hazardous / explosive cargoes
- debit card / credit card
- drugs (including prescription)
- dry ice
- engines
- firearms and weapons (real or fake)
- fire extinguisher
- firecrackers
- furs / skins / animal parts / animal antiquities
- gaming items such as gambling devices / lottery tickets / poker chips
- gold / precious stone / bullion / silver / silverstone / precious metal/ jewelleries
- hazardous goods / toxic powder
- knives
- lighter
- livestocks / bloodstocks / aquaculture/ birds
- narcotics
- oil
- original and/or official documents e.g. Identity card, passport, licence, bank draft, bank cheque, money order, stamp, paperwork, photo, document, certificate, voucher etc
- perishable goods / foods
- perishable items / live or fresh plants / frozen or refrigerated items that require refrigeration
- plant and agricultural products
- pornography / offensive materials / sexual explicit content
- religious items
- seat belt tensioner
- Legal instruments and/or security papers and valuable papers / bonds / vouchers / coupons
- sinks
- sinks
- tactical equipment
- tobacco/ cigarettes / cigars / vapes

Further exclusions
- EasyParcel will not be liable to pay for the following situations:

Loss or damage caused by or arising out of:
- Hostile or warlike actions, including defending against an actual or expected attack;
- Any weapon of combat employing atomic fission/fusion or radioactive force;
- Insurrection, rebellion, revolution, civil war, usurped power, or government authority action, quarantine or customs regulations, confiscation, or risks of contraband or illegal transportation of trade.

Nuclear Exclusion
This EasyCover policy does not apply to any loss or damage resulting from nuclear reaction, radiation, or radioactive contamination, regardless of the cause. It is understood that all parcels under this EasyCover policy coverage will be shipped in accordance with its appointed courier partner terms and regulations.

Loss or damage caused by or arising out of:
- EasyParcel will not be liable to pay for the following situations:
Void EasyCover Policy

We would like to bring to your attention that this EasyCover Policy may be voided for any of the following reasons:-
- Confiscation or destruction under the relevant customs regulations;
- Confiscation by any government or public authority;
- Any delay caused by events or circumstances beyond EasyParcel control;
- Dishonesty or misrepresentation or false information provided by you;
- Hostile or Warlike Action (during peace and war);
- Illegal contraband;
- Illegal Transportation of Trade;
- Infidelity (e.g. false delivery information, theft, mishandling of consignment/shipment);
- Inherent Vice;
- Latent Defect;
- Loss of Market;
- Nuclear Exclusion;
- Other Deterioration;
- Remote or Consequential Loss;
- Delivering the product to someone who obtains it by trick, false pretense, or other fraudulent schemes; or
- Non-compliance with EasyCover Terms and Conditions.
- Please be advised that should any of the above circumstances occur, your EasyCover policy may be rendered void, and you may not be entitled to any compensation or claims and EasyParcel will not be under any obligation to offer coverage or make payments for claims.
EasyCover - Fraud Policy
- By purchasing this EasyCover Policy, you hereby certify that all information provided is true, complete, and accurate.
- You also understand that in the event of your information being found false or incorrect or you have wilfully concealed or misrepresented any information or circumstance concerning this EasyCover Policy or the subject thereof, at any stage, whether before or after a loss, such false or incorrect or misrepresentation or dishonesty statement may disqualify you for benefits or entitlements and your EasyCover Policy shall be void. Further, your action may be subject to prosecution under the relevant laws or regulations, which could result in fines, imprisonment or other legal penalties.
